In 1959, at a quaint restaurant in Seattle known as Marie's Cafe, Marie's Dressing was born. The café owner, Harold Smith, created Marie's Blue Cheese dressing which gained local fame – but it wasn't long before it expanded beyond the community. Word spread, and later that year, Smith, his wife and their partner established the company that makes Marie's Dressing. Today, Marie's Dressing continues in the spirit of its heritage by using only the highest-quality ingredients to create fresh-tasting flavors that complement the food creations of home cooks nationwide.
